Dr. Keith Clement is a Professor of Criminology at California State University, Fresno. Dr. Clement serves as California Cybersecurity Task Force (CCTF) Workforce Development and Education Subcommittee Chair. The CCTF is a partnership between the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and California Department of Technology. We have completed the California Cybersecurity Career Education Pipeline and Pathway Project (C3EP3) Project and the California Pre-Apprenticeship and Registered Apprenticeship Talent Model Pathway. He serves at the California Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship (IACA) IT Subcommittee Chair.
Dr. Clement has received numerous state and federal grants, including the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Homeland Security; state grants include the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA); California Department of Education (CDE), California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), and Board of State Community Corrections (BSCC). He has published in international and national journals.
In addition, Dr. Clement serves as Chair of the California Community College Chancellor's Office Public Safety Education Advisory Committee. He co-founded and led the California State University (CSU) Council for Emergency Management and Homeland Security (CEMHS) system-wide faculty affinity group through 2015. From 2015-19, Dr. Clement founded and served as Executive Director for the National Council for Emergency Management and Homeland Security (NCEMHS) .
